River of Creativity - More inspiration from Brenda

We are working with the prompt "The Gift" this month.  It can take you in so many different directions including for some of us Christmas.  After all we are all busy with our arrangements and gift giving for the festivities.

Hand made gifts are always something special and for many of us much more meaningful.  Like this charm by Brenda, who describes it "It's a twinchie, hole punched in the corner, inked with oxide sprays, stamped with Versafine Clair, left to thoroughly dry, then three coats of Versamark and UTEE.".

Fab isn't it.

River of Creativity - The Gift Inspiration

We love themes that are open to interpretation and seeing all your ideas.  The gift as we have seen can be thought of is many different ways.

Today's sample can be viewed on one of two ways, the hanging might in itself be a gift.  It is also an expression of the gift of Dance.  Zoë made this using resin in a mould for the first time!

River of Creativity - Some mid month inspiration

How is your month going?  Getting all your Christmas preparations sorted and gifts all selected?  The Gift is our theme this month and encouraging you all to use the word in any way that inspires you.

It might be a Christmas gift or it might be something else completely different.  Art Angel thought about in a more philosophical way, this is her second inspiration piece this month.

Once again the standard was very high, it always makes it difficult for the team to select their shoutouts, we all start with a short list and then narrow it down.  However we all managed it and here are our Shoutouts.

River of Creativity Challenge 7

In the last month we have experienced a few changes.  Our team is now just 5 but as we find our way in establishing ourselves that might be for the best.  We are also delighted by how many people joined us last month and the different styles you shared.  

We have to choose which pieces to give a shoutout to, those will be announced on the 12th.  Dont wait until then to come back, now you know our theme we hope you'll have projects to share before then.

On to a new challenge, this time the prompt is "The Gift".  As always take time to just let the prompt settle in your mind and see what ideas suggest themselves to you.    Ah yes this is challenge 7, the original idea was postponed to another time, the badges had already been made hence the wrong number on this one.
