So here is a chainmaille bracelet that I (Zoë) made, it looks like a row of suns around your wrist.

It is a very simple weave, each rosette is built on a single jump ring with an inner diameter of approximately 1cm.  It is usual to use the inner diameter of jump rings in chainmaille.  23 contrasting jump rings (approx 4mm) threaded on.  22 more jump rings of the same size but in the original colour then go round the outside each ring fed through 2 of the previous ones.  You can make some real statement jewellery with chainmaille and it is very satisfying to do.
